Discovery wins prestigious FIA Awards

Discovery took the honours in two categories at the prestigious annual Financial Intermediaries Association of Southern Africa (FIA) Awards, held in Sandton on 12 June 2014.

Discovery Health was named Product Supplier of the year in the healthcare category for the seventh year in a row. Discovery Life took the honours in the category Long-term Insurance Product Supplier of the Year – Risk Products.

The FIA Awards recognise and honour South Africa’s leading product providers in the financial services industry. Discovery believes that the FIA Awards survey is one of the benchmark surveys conducted in South Africa today. Over 23 000 calls are made to complete 2 710 interviews and rate 6 417 contracts. Each survey participant was asked to respond on issues such as product, relationship, service quality and overall levels of satisfaction with the product supplier.
