Activate Gym Booster and earn up to 100% off your monthly gym fees
At Vitality, we’re all about motivating you to achieve your personal goals and making it easier for you to do so. That’s why we launched Vitality Active Rewards late last year – the brand new benefit that rewards you weekly for achieving your fitness goals.
We want to make it even more rewarding for you to get fit with Vitality Active Rewards, so we’ve now launched the Gym Booster benefit. This benefit will allow you to earn additional cash back on your gym monthly membership fees – this means you can save up to 100% on your gym membership fees!
How does it work?
If you are a member of either Virgin Active Club or Planet Fitness Local and have activated Vitality Active Rewards, you are the main member or spouse, and you have visited the gym 36 times in a rolling 12-month period, you qualify for the Gym Booster.
Step 1: Download the latest Discovery app
Step 2: Activate Vitality Active Rewards
Step 3: Log into the Discovery site at the top of this page with your username and password
Step 4: Go to the Vitality Active Rewards tab
Step 5: Scroll down to “Gym Booster”
Step 6: Follow the activation process
We will set you personalised goals based on your health and fitness level and every week that you achieve your goal, you will get a voucher for a free drink at KAUAI or vida e caffè AND you will also be working towards up to 100% off your monthly gym fees.
If you achieve all four of your weekly Vitality Active Rewards goals, you get an additional 25% cash back on your monthly gym fees paid into your nominated cash back account the following month. Remember that you have to visit the gym 36 times in a rolling 12-month period in order to maintain your gym discount and your Gym Booster benefit. Every time you visit the gym, you earn 100 Vitality fitness points, but you can earn additional points for your workouts by wearing a qualifying fitness device. Once you have reached your maximum fitness points limit of 30 000, you will continue to earn points towards your Vitality Active Rewards goals every week.
Good to know
As a member of either Virgin Active Club or Planet Fitness Local, you get a 75% discount on your monthly gym fees. Please note that Virgin Active Premier and Classic and Planet Fitness National and Platinum members will continue to get substantial savings on their gym fees but do not qualify for the Gym Booster benefit. If you activated your gym benefit before 2010 and are currently saving 100% on your membership or your spouse’s membership, you are not eligible for the Gym Booster benefit.
