Jozi's spiciest run is here and you're invited! Join the Vitality Chicken Run, flavoured by Nando's, on Saturday, 8 November, as we take on the streets of the City of Gold with a 5 km or 10 km evening run that's made for the brave.
Sizzling hot reasons to enter the Vitality Chicken Run, flavoured by Nando's:
- Experience the city from a different perspective - on foot, at sunset, surrounded by fellow Joburgers in a safe, vibrant atmosphere.
- Take the PRASA train, for free, between Park Station and Ellis Park Stadium - (return trip included). Plus, if you take the Gautrain to Park Station, parking is just R1!
- Cross the finish line, earn a shiny medal and make a difference. For every runner who finishes, we'll donate a meal to a child in Lorentzville, right in the heart of the CBD.
- Come for the run, or just for the fun! The Vitality Chicken Run, flavoured by Nando's is a run for everyone!
- Last, but not least, Nelson Mandela Bridge - but make it pink!

The Jozi CBD and its surrounding areas are buzzing with new energy, bold developments and a renewed sense of pride. This run is your chance to experience that change firsthand - to move through the streets that are being reimagined and revitalised through the efforts of Jozi My Jozi.

- Gates open: 14:00
- 10 km start: 17:00
- 5 km start: 17:20
Entry fees:
- HOT 10 km: R350 (+ R60 temporary licence fee)
- MILD 5 km: R250
- Includes your official Vitality Chicken Run race shirt, finishers medal and access to post-race entertainment.

From Constitution Hill and Nelson Mandela Bridge to the colourful courts of the Maharishi Sports Club and Gandhi Square, the Vitality Chicken Run, flavoured by Nando's promises to be a celebration of fitness, flavour and fun.

Stay on track for the start! Take the train to Ellis Park Stadium.
Race entrants will be able to make use of the Gautrain and PRASA's Integrated Train Service to and from Ellis Park Stadium on Saturday, 8 November.
Getting to the run:
- Take the Gautrain to Park Station.
- At Park Station, dedicated PRASA trains will run to and from Ellis Park Stadium every 15 minutes from 14:00, FREE for race participants.
From the Run:
- Take a PRASA train back to Park Station, then the Gautrain to your desired station.
- The last PRASA train departs from Ellis Park Stadium at 21:30.
- The last Gautrain from Park Station will depart at 22:00.

Parking: Gautrain parking fare is just R1 when you take the train. Should you choose to drive, there is also limited parking available near Ellis Park Stadium.

Don't think you're tough enough? Think again!
If you've ever sprinted for a taxi, dodged potholes like a pro, or taken the stairs because the power was out (again) - your training has already begun! In fact, you've been training for it your whole life.
This run is about courage, community and the spirit of Mzansi. It's not about being the fastest - it's about showing up, stepping out, and owning the streets with pride. You've totes got this!
Need more motivation to enter? For every participant who crosses the finish line of the Vitality Chicken Run, flavoured by Nando's, a meal will be donated to a child in the Lorentzville community. So now you're really in it to wing it!

Every detail is covered to keep the energy high and the experience safe
- Increased lighting will be installed along the entire race route for maximum visibility.
- Trained marshals, security teams and medical personnel will be stationed across the course.
- A detailed World-class event support and emergency response plan is in place in consultation with authorities.

Race packs will be available for collection on the following dates and locations:
- Wednesday, 5 November - Sportsmans Warehouse Fourways Crossing(10:00-17:00)
- Thursday, 6 November - Sportsmans Warehouse The Glen Shopping Centre (10:00-17:00)
- Friday, 7 November - Discovery Head Office, Sandton (10:00-19:00)
You'll be asked to select your preferred collection point during the registration process.
Please note: Your race pack must be collected from the venue you selected on the relevant day advised, it will not be available at the other collection points.
